Danheim & Heldom Take On The New Year With Viking-Inspired Neofolk

One of 2021’s first Nordic folk song releases is Viking-inspired ‘Runamal’ — materializes out of thin air.

January 24, 2021 — Danish folk music stalwarts Danheim and Heldom have released a surprise team-effort:

the dark folk song “Runamal” via Ballista Records. The duo also provided a short comment on their surprise “Danish Vikings” collaboration:

“We had a great time recording both the music video and music, although it took quite some time and pretty long nights.”

The new release has yet to become available on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. But an official YouTube-version is available indicating the track will become available soon.
